Hello Dear Rover Community, I'm Nelly, an expat in lovely Berlin, working in digital marketing. Growing up surrounded by wonderful cats and dogs, I'm a dedicated animal lover and a vegetarian. In the last 10 years, I've had the joy of pet sitting for both cats and dogs across the Netherlands and Germany. While my travel prevents me from having a pet of my own, it creates a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your furry companions. I cherish both dogs and cats, believing they bring an unparalleled joy to life. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. Pet sitting options include day visits, stayovers at the owner's home, or at my apartment. Occasionally, I'm open to pet sitting in other towns. During my care, I keep you updated with regular messages, multiple photos, and videos to ensure your pet is happy and well cared for. I'm also happy to assist with plant care, handling mail and packages, and coordinating with cleaners or handymen. Due to my schedule, I prefer requests made not more than 1 month in advance, so last-minute requests are always welcome! :) * Special rates may apply for cats (case by case): 10% discount for housesitting, 50% discount on boarding. Additional visit discounts may apply for very low-maintenance cats. * Boarding very important- I *only* accept mature pets that don't damage furniture or belongings and don't require 24/7 care to maintain my regular schedule. In other cases, additional costs may apply. * When submitting a request, kindly provide your address for day visits or dog walking, and for boarding and daycare, specify exact drop-off and pick-up times. * For house sitting with big dogs, there's an additional 15 EUR charge per night for an extra pet. * Standby will be treated as a regular booking. * Please familiarize yourself with the cancellation policy. * Prices may vary for special services not listed on the website, such as "babysitting" dogs at the owner's house or extended doggy daycare. * Doggy daycare spans 7 hours (extra payment for longer hours), while boarding covers 24 hours. Nelly was so great! She looked after my two bunnies for a week over Christmas and I came home to two happy, clean and soft rabbits - the dream!
Nelly hat sich absolut fantastisch um unseren Louis gekümmert. Sie kam jeden Tag zweimal vorbei, hat lange mit ihm gespielt, Streicheleinheiten gegeben, gefüttert, Näpfe sauber gemacht, die Toilette gereinigt und mich mit Fotos von dem kleinen Kerl versorgt. Wer eine zuverlässige und liebevolle Catsitterin sucht, hat sie mit Nelly gefunden :)

Nelly helped me out with my cat, Milly. My cat has some health problems with her stomach so I really needed someone who is more patient and caring to take care of her. Nelly was great and always kept me updated. Would highly recommend!

Zeitplan
My schedule changes; I work hybrid, so sometimes I'm home all week. It really just depends on the day. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Feel free to ask :)

The safety of every pet in my care is my highest priority. When hosting, I make sure my apartment suits the pet before accepting a booking, asking detailed questions to confirm it's a good fit. When visiting a pet's home or staying there, I review all guidelines and rules in advance and follow the owner's instructions exactly.
Ein typischer Tag
For cats, I play with them as the owner instructs, following their preferences for toys and routine. During cat visits, I'm happy to bring my laptop and keep your kitty company at home. For dogs, I'm happy to head to parks, go on hikes, and do plenty of physical activity together. I love long walks, so having a dog along makes them even more fun :)
